  • Cohort-level analytics
  • SSO and enterprise integration

The platform

Four pillars behind every engineering module.

Hands-on XR experience

Students step inside every module in immersive VR — picking up tools, running real procedures, and manipulating full 3D equipment. Each engineering module is a hands-on lab, not a video to watch.

WebXR delivery

The same immersive module runs on Meta Quest, ClassVR, and Pico headsets — and in any browser when a headset isn't to hand. No app installs, no app-store approvals. Students open a link and start.

7thi AI tutor

An AI tutor inside every engineering module. 7thi knows the subject, the experiment, and the student's progress. It answers questions, scaffolds learning, and adapts in real time.

Standards and syllabi

Mapped to the curricula that matter.

Every engineering module is mapped to at least one recognised standard or university syllabus. We work with your faculty to ensure alignment before deployment, not after.

Common questions

Engineering-specific questions.

For procurement, IT, and pedagogy questions, our team is one demo away.

Talk to us
Which engineering disciplines are covered?

Ten disciplines: mechanical, electrical, electronics, civil, structural, chemical, aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, and industrial engineering. The library is weighted towards mechanical and electrical, with the other disciplines growing each quarter.

Can modules be mapped to our existing syllabus?

Yes. Every module is curriculum-aligned by design. Our team maps modules to your specific programme requirements before deployment. We support NBA, NAAC, QS, IEAC, Engineering Council UK (AHEP), and ABET, plus individual university syllabi.

Do they work with our existing lab equipment?

iXRLabs modules run in WebXR on any compatible headset (Meta Quest, ClassVR, Pico) and in any modern browser without a headset. No special lab equipment is required. The modules complement your physical labs, giving students access to equipment and scenarios that would otherwise be too costly, too dangerous, or too infrequent.

What is involved in setting up for a cohort of 60?

Typical deployment takes two weeks. You need headsets (or just browsers), a Wi-Fi connection, and an LMS integration if desired. Our team handles onboarding, faculty training, and module mapping. A cohort of 60 can run simultaneously with standard classroom infrastructure.

How are modules updated?

New modules are released quarterly, built in collaboration with faculty partners. Existing modules receive ongoing improvements based on analytics data and faculty feedback. All updates are delivered automatically through WebXR with no manual action required.
