Turbofan Jet Engine
A turbofan jet engine is a type of internal combustion engine that uses a turbine to compress incoming air and then mix it with fuel before igniting it in a combustion chamber. The hot exhaust gases then spin a turbine, which drives a fan or compressor to introduce additional air into the combustion chamber, creating a continuous cycle. This type of engine is commonly used to power aircraft and is usually the most efficient choice for applications where high speeds are necessary.
