Solar Power Plant

Solar Power Plant

Solar power plant is a renewable source generation plant and utilizes solar energy emitted by the sun to generate electricity. The plant consists of an array of photovoltaic cells that acquires the photon energy from sun and excites the electrons within them. These excited electrons flow further lead to the generation of electric power. However, the power generator generated by solar plant is dc, so we use inverters to convert the dc into ac power such that it is feasible for transmission and utilization by the utility networks.
