Asphalt Paver

Asphalt Paver

An asphalt paver is a machine used in road construction to lay asphalt on a prepared surface. It is a complex piece of equipment with several components, including a tractor, a screed, and a hopper for storing and dispensing asphalt. The asphalt paver moves with the help of the tractor wheels to which it is attached. The screed is part of the paver that lays the asphalt and ensures it is spread evenly and at the correct thickness.

The hopper stores the asphalt mixture and feeds it to the screed. Asphalt pavers may also include additional features, such as sensors that help ensure accurate paving thickness and temperature control systems that maintain the optimal temperature of the asphalt during the laying process.
